Transitions® Signature® GEN 8™

Transitions lenses are the no. 1 eyecare professional-recommended photochromic lenses worldwide. Transitions lenses are equipped with patented, photochromic dyes that enable the lenses to rapidly darken, when they are exposed to ultraviolet light. The greater the intensity of UV rays, the darker the lenses become. When UV light is no longer present (indoors or at night) the lenses fade back to their original state.

Completely clear indoors up to 89% tint in perfect condition, they are temperature dependent so will not darken as much in very warm environments. 

These lenses will block up to 20% of all blue light indoors and up to 87% outside. These will fadeback quicker than ever before

These are classed as a clear lens replacement.
